Bulk Google Play lookups: 100 apps per call

How the batch endpoint works, what it costs and how to handle apps that are missing or removed.

The call

curl -H "X-API-Key: $API_KEY" \
  "https://apkunit.com/api/v1/apps?ids=com.whatsapp,com.spotify.music,org.telegram.messenger"

Package names are separated by commas; up to 100 per call. Duplicates are merged, and the cost is one token per distinct app.

The answer

Every found app comes back as a full record, the same as /app?id= returns. Package names that are not in the index are listed separately, so one typo does not spoil a batch.

Removed apps

Apps that left Google Play still answer, with status.removed: true and the date they were first missing. Keep them in your table and mark them, instead of deleting the rows.

Rate limits

The free tier allows 30 requests a minute; after the first token purchase it is 1,200 a minute. At 100 apps per call that is 120,000 records a minute.
